Hines, hines & dad - butterscotch monday / look for the silver lining - Gregory Hines, Hines & Dad and The Lennon Sisters Put A.

Hines performed as the lead singer and musician in a rock band called Severance in the year of 1975–1976 based in Venice, California. Severance was one of the house bands at an original music club called Honky Hoagies Handy Hangout, otherwise known as the 4H Club. Severance released their debut album on Largo Records (a subsidiary of GNP Crescendo) in 1976. In 1986, he sang a duet with Luther Vandross , entitled "There's Nothing Better Than Love", which reached the No. 1 position on the Billboard R&B charts . [3]

This gave the show a great sense of humor and the plots started to follow suit. Bret might find himself winning a camel that he couldn’t sell or convincing hillbillies to solve their feud through poker. This show seems smarter and more fun than a lot of today’s programming (amazing that it can prove to be more entertaining than ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’).

Earl Hines was born in Duquesne, Pa. His father was a trumpeter and his mother played piano and organ. He took up the trumpet as a child, but began studying classical piano at the age of 9. After three years of lessons, he decided he was more interested in jazz piano, and by the time he was 15 years old he was leading his own trio.
